If you are an Íslandsbanki cardholder, you may be entitled to a chargeback for unauthorised payments or unreceived purchases.
If you notice an unauthorised payment or do not receive merchandise/service that you have paid for by card, then you may be entitled to a chargeback. Credit card transactions are a secure way of doing business but we are here to help you if things go wrong. We recommend that you begin by contacting the supplier or service provider, to try and find a solution. If this doesn't work, then we can help you take the necessary steps to secure a chargeback.

Please note that the chargeback process can take anything up to four months and the reversal will be made in the exchange rate valid when the transaction was made.
