Customers urged to use digital solutions

In view of the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 virus, Íslandsbanki encourages its customers to take advantage of the Bank’s digital banking solutions. We will continue to offer conventional services at our branch offices, but customers are respectfully asked to minimise their visits to branches.

All key banking transactions can be carried out via online bank, the Íslandsbanki app, and the Kass app. Customers are also encouraged to use their mobile phones or smart watches to make contactless payments in stores.

By using the online chat function on the Íslandsbanki website (available from 09:00-18:00 hrs.), customers can communicate with our customer service advisors and identify themselves via electronic ID. All financial transactions can be handled via online chat.
