Effective 17 January 2022, the Bank’s branches in the capital area will be closed due to the temporary difficulties that lie ahead because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bank will receive customers who make an appointment on its website. Customers are asked to use digital solutions for all of their main banking activities wherever possible.
Customers can also use the Bank’s online chat function or call us at +354 440 4000. Senior citizens who are unable to use the Íslandsbanki app or the online bank are welcome to call +354 440 3737 and carry out all of their main banking activities by telephone.
