Instructions for creating, editing, and cancelling a claim in online banking.


Create

Select “Claims & Claim Lists” under “Collections.”
Once on this page, click “New Claim” at the top right of the screen.

This window will open next:

  • Select a claim template.
  • Entering a claim number is not required.
  • You can enter an amount or multiple claim items with amounts.
  • The due date and final due date are required fields. The cancellation date is automatically set to four years later, but can be changed.
  • Once the file has been added and confirmed, the claim is created and will appear in the online bank.

Editing and Cancellation

To edit or cancel a claim, open the claim and click the three dots on the right side of the screen.

  • When you select “Edit,” the claim opens, and the fields that can be changed will become editable.
  • When you choose to cancel a claim, a confirmation window will appear asking if you're sure you want to cancel it.
  • Claims can be manually forwarded to a debt collection agency by selecting “Forward to collection,” but only if the claimant has an agreement with a collection agency that the bank has been informed of. Once you select this option, a confirmation window will appear.
