Íslandsbanki tops customer satisfaction rankings


Íslandsbanki customers are the most satisfied in the banking market, according to the Icelandic Customer Satisfaction Index. This is the fifth time in a row that the Bank has received this recognition. Stjórnvísi, the Federation of Icelandic Industries, and Zenter carry out the measurements. Customers are asked questions based on factors related to their level of satisfaction: image, quality of service, and the impact of satisfaction on their loyalty to the company. 

Íslandsbanki’s vision is to be #1 for service, and the Customer Satisfaction Index is therefore an important vindication of the work the Bank has been doing in recent years. Íslandsbanki was also selected recently as Bank of the Year by The Banker.

“I am incredibly proud of Íslandsbanki’s staff members, who are highly deserving of this recognition. In the midst of moving our headquarters and changing our organisational structure, we are providing outstanding service, and this award encourages us to do our best. We recently launched our new Kreditkort app, with which users can track their credit card usage in real time, obtain a PIN number, and have their card frozen. Customers can also apply for and change overdraft authorisations in the Íslandsbanki app. Both of these innovations have been very well received. We look forward to rolling out further solutions this year, so as to simplify our customers’ banking experience.”
