The majority owner of Íslandsbanki is ISB Holding ehf, which holds a 95% share in the bank. ISB Holding is a subsidiary of Glitnir banki hf*.

ISB Holding ehf appoints six of seven Directors to the Board of Íslandsbanki.

The remaining 5% shareholding is held by the Icelandic Government through its holding entity Icelandic State Financial Investments (ISFI).

The Icelandic Government, via ISFI, appoints one Director to the Board of Íslandsbanki.

Íslandsbanki's shares are at this time not listed on any stock exchange.
