Employee Satisfaction Surveys
A survey to measure the satisfaction, motivation and loyalty of employees is conducted at Íslandsbanki every year. The purpose of the survey, which is international and conducted by external consulting firm Capacent, is to identify the need for HR focus areas and activities in the coming years.
When measurements do not live up to expectations, management and department heads - supported by the HR functions - must act appropriately and initiate measures to improve the results.
Íslandsbanki engages consulting firm Capacent to conduct annual staff satisfaction surveys. The Bank is extremely proud to be able to say that morale then measured to be at an all time high, despite very challenging external working conditions. Engagement and team-work & co-operation were also measured higher or on par with previous surveys. In all cases Íslandsbanki scored higher than both the average ranking of the entire Capacent database as well as other financial institutions and insurance companies in Iceland as can be seen in the figure below.
